General FAQ's

  1. Who can signup?

Both, non-single(bridgers) and single folks(seekers) can be a part of the platform.

  2. What's the role of non-seekers aka bridgers?

Anyone with a general public profile on the app is considered to be a bridger. Bridgers, by default, just with their presence on the platform will be helping seekers from their network discover fellow seekers. This is called as implicit bridging. Along with that, if they'd like, they may explicitly suggest a match for their friends as well.

  3. Is there any incentive for bridgers?

Yes, indeed! 🎉 Apart from the ability to create wonderful jodis, Bridgers will also be rewarded with karma points both for implicit and explicit bridging action. Hint Hint: These points might become valuable enough to get some nice things for yourselves in the future 😉.

  4. Who is a seeker?

Someone who has also created a seeker profile in addition to the general profile on the app is considered as a seeker. They will be recommended with the profiles of other seekers from their social circles.

  6. Is there a mobile app?

Bridger FAQ's

  1. Who all can I set my friends up with?

For each of the friend that you select, you will receive a list of users starting from their 4th to 7th connection degree, based on the age range and gender preference that you have provided. You can pair that friend with anyone from that list you fancy. However, do note that the appearance of a user in that list does not imply that they have created a seeker profile.

  2. What happens when I bridge two people?

If both of them have an active seeker profile, they will receive the suggestion in their feed. If either/both of them are not seekers, then your suggestion will be recorded and will be fed to them once they both create a seeker profile.

  3. Will the seekers get to know who bridged them?

Yes, if the seeker is your friend, they'll get to know. Although, do note that you will also have an option to anonymously bridge if you wish. Default option is non-anonymous and the bridger identity will be revealed.
